Nino's Pizzeria robbed - UPDATE

New insight to the Oct. 29 armed robbery of Nino's Pizzeria in DeWitt revealed that the suspect was last seen running across Butternut Drive to enter the passenger side of a light-colored four-door car that was parked by the JD's Fish & Grill entrance. Police officials say the car then headed southbound on Butternut Drive.


Nino's Pizzeria in Dewitt was the victim of an armed robbery last night Oct. 29 after a man, displaying what appeared to be a handgun, demanded money from an employee. He fled the restaurant, located at 5980 Butternut Drive, with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male between 20 to 30 years of age, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and balding. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, sneakers and a blue covering over his face.
