Skaneateles Police blotter, Oct. 19 to 25

Sergeant Stevens says ...

If anyone comes to your home or business to try and solicit something, ask to see their permit from the Village Clerk. Anyone soliciting inside the Village needs to be registered with the Village Clerk's Office and will be given a permit to solicit. If they cannot provide one to you, call the Skaneateles Police Dept. Do not give them cash or any personal information. This should go for phone calls and emails as well. If you are not familiar or not comfortable with these contacts, hang up or delete.
