The Skaneateles Police Department and the dispatch/communications center are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you encounter any problems any hour of the day, please do not hesitate to contact the police department immediately. If you have a problem and do not report it until a later time, it makes it harder to solve.

Arrests for the week:

James E. Pickreign, 35, of 201 Oxford St., Syracuse, was charged Oct. 7 on a warrant for petit larceny.

Vinh D. Phan, 19, of 1914 E. Fayette St., Syracuse, was charged Oct. 11 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding.
