Test drive new Lincoln to raise money for breast cancer research

At Heritage Lincoln Mercury, the arrival of the new Lincoln MKS will be just one of the highlights of the star-studded fundraiser set for tonight, Thursday Oct. 15 from 3 to 7 p.m.

The event will feature Syracuse Orange-themed door prizes, including a shootout with Gerry McNamara during Midnight Madness, SU basketball season tickets, and autographed memorabilia. Assistant basketball coach Mike Hopkins will also be on hand to help the dealership celebrate the arrival of the new MKS and to visit with attendees.

Attendees can also help raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a foundation for breast cancer research, by registering to test drive a vehicle at Heritage Lincoln Mercury during tonight's event. Driving a car will raise $20 for the foundation.

The centerpiece of the evening, the Lincoln MKS, boasts a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine and visitors to Heritage tonight will be among the first in the country to experience the new model.

Heritage Lincoln Mercury is located at 900 W. Genesee St., Syracuse.
