Rescue Mission plans Thanksgiving sale

The Rescue Mission is giving thanks for its wonderful customers by giving them 50 percent off specially marked clothing during its Thanksgiving sale.

Take a break from holiday dinner preparations the day before Thanksgiving or walk off those extra pounds the day after Thanksgiving and head to your nearest Thrifty Shopper to enjoy 50 percent off the already reasonable prices of clothing with orange, blue or red tags.

Prices are also being cut 50 percent on household goods and furniture during this sale, which is from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 25 and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday Nov. 27 and excludes new merchandise at 12 Thrifty Shopper stores. All stores are closed Thanksgiving.

The Rescue Mission operates stores in Auburn, Baldwinsville, Binghamton, Cortland, East Syracuse, Fairmount, Henrietta, Liverpool, North Syracuse, Oswego, the Valley section of Syracuse and Watertown. For more information, including addresses, go to rmsyr.org or call 453-7242.
