Concert benefits B'ville food pantry

The Hillview Community Church presents the band The Revs in concert to benefit the Baldwinsville Food Pantry at 7 p.m. Friday Dec. 11.

Starring Suzie and Jim Harriff, The Revs will present a program of inspirational and seasonal music that will light up a cold and dark December night. Expect a wonderful blend of folk, easy listening and traditional Christmas and holiday favorites.

A clergy couple, the Hariffs have been singing together since they first met 32 years ago. Jim is the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Canastota and sings with the Master's Touch Chorale. Suzie is the Chaplain at Iroquois Nursing Home and is also the minister of music at Jamesville Community Church. Their trips to Rwanda in east central Africa, where they share their music, teaching and preaching ministry in a number of different settings are a highlight of their life and ministry together.

Cost of admission is just non-perishable food items for the Baldwinsville Food Pantry. Snacks and drinks will be available. The church is located on O'Brien Road in Baldwinsville. For more information, call 635-6952. A map is available on the Hillview Web site at hillviewcbc.org.
