Volunteers connect at BVC fair

The Baldwinsville Volunteer Center held its second volunteer fair last Thursday at Baker High School with 17 service organizations present at the event. The fair was designed to help those interested in volunteering in their community connect with an organization that best suited their needs. Several of the organizations also held raffles including the Baldwinsville Public Library, which was raffling off Dan Brown's latest novel, "The Lost Symbol."

Katie Mangicaro, center, and her mother Lori, right, listened as Dawn Custer explained what the Baldwinsville Rotary Club does and how they could get involved.
