Landmark Theatre screens Elf and White Christmas

M&T Bank, Sunny 102, and the Landmark Theatre celebrate the holiday season with a continued tradition, special screenings of the films "Elf," and "White Christmas."

Join us on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. for "Elf," starring Will Ferrell as a man raised as an elf at the North Pole who is sent to New York City in search of his true identity. Come back to the Theatre on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 3 p.m. for "White Christmas," starring Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye as a song-and-dance team who become involved with a sister act and team up to save a failing Vermont inn.

Additionally, on Sunday, December 6 at 1:30 PM we will have a free Lowe's Build to Grow workshop, where kids will create a handmade project. Advance registration for the workshop is required and space is limited. Call 475-7979 ext. 105. or e-mail jake@landmarktheatre.org. All proceeds benefit the Landmark Theatre.

This year we are excited to be able to show these films on a brand new movie screen - this screen was installed to show the movie premiere of "The Express" in September.

The premiere showcased the Theatre and downtown Syracuse in a star-studded event featuring Dennis Quaid and Rob Brown, the stars of the movie!

Tickets are available at the door for only $3.00, and doors open at 1 p.m. on 12/06 and 2 p.m. on 12/20. Children ages 5 and under are free.

Concessions will be available for purchase. For more information call 475-7980.

A continued tradition this year includes a discount for Lights on the Lake, another spectacular Central New York holiday tradition. Bring your movie ticket stub to Lights on the Lake and get $1 off a carload. In turn, bring your Lights on the Lake ticket stub to the Landmark Theatre and get $1 off a maximum of 4 adult movie tickets. Visit lightsonthelake.com.
