B'ville celebration of art

McNamara Elementary School held its annual art fest on April 29.

Student artwork was on display throughout the building turning the school into an art gallery in which each student had two art pieces exhibited.

Art teacher Leslie Nicoletti said the art fest is a way to showcase the students' works and talents for the community, as well as to give students a feel for what it would be like to have their art on display in a museum.

Art work included sculptures, prints, drawings and paintings.
