Think Rescue Mission when you think spring

Like every person, every piece of clothing has value to the Rescue Mission. So when you're cleaning out your closet, don't second-guess what to donate. Drop off every piece of clothing or accessory you no longer need or want. It all adds up to helping as many people as possible in our community.

While the Rescue Mission gratefully accepts clean clothes in great condition to either give away to the needy or sell in its thrift stores in support of services to the homeless and hurting, it will take all of your unwanted clothing, linens and shoes in any condition as your clean out your closets this spring.

Clothing you throw away is likely to end up in a landfill. Why not go green and donate all the things you no longer use to the Rescue Mission, one of Onondaga County's biggest recyclers. Revenue generated from your donated items will feed, clothe, shelter and equip our neighbors in need--and you'll help reduce the waste ending up in landfills.
