Sreca elected Vernon mayor, local election results

Elections were held Wednesday in three local villages.

Vernon

Incumbent William "Bill" Sreca won the Vernon mayor seat with 137 votes to Bryan Acee's 88. For the two open trustee seats, Charlene Gregory and Gerald Seymour won the spots with 141 and 133 votes, respectively. Nathan Baker received 118 votes in the election.

Sylvan Beach

Edward "Rick" Stewart III won the mayoral election, running unopposed. Three candidates ran for two open trustee spots and Gregory Campbell and Gregory Horan won the election. The other candidate on the ballot was Janice Krueger. Final vote counts were not available.

Oneida Castle

Fifteen people came out to vote in the Oneida Castle village election, where John Deschamps and Michael Healy ran unopposed for mayor and trustee, respectively. All fifteen votes went to the two incumbents.
