Learn about habitat restoration on Onondaga Lake

Onondaga Audubon Society, Honeywell, and the Montezuma Audubon Center will present a free program on the Habiat Restoration on Onondaga Lake and the Future of Birds and Birding. The program will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday March 18th at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Illick Hall Room 5. Illick Hall is directly across the southside of the Carrier Dome.

The program is featuring a presentation on how new wetlands look to enhance bird habitats around Onondaga Lake from Wetlands Specialist Joseph M. McMullen.

Additional speakers will include Honeywell's Syracuse Program Director John McAuliffe, Onondaga Audubon Society's President and Ornithological Consultant Gerry Smith, and the Montezuma Audubon Center's Director Frank Moses.
