March is more than the parade. It is Red Cross Month, too

March is Red Cross Month - what exactly does that mean? Each year in March we proclaim that March is Red Cross Month. Photos are taken with dignitaries and community leaders, who sign proclamations saying it is so. give of themselves throughout the year are honored for the selfless work that they do. Historically it is a time when people were asked to give what they could financially to support the American Red Cross. So as you can see March is Red Cross Month means a lot of things to a lot of people.
