Downtown lunch and why art matters

Last week, an exciting new exhibition space opened downtown. The space is located at 307-313 South Clinton Street.

Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts is leasing the space to exhibit the work of faculty, students, alumni and visiting artists.

On March 19 at 12:15 p.m. until 1 p.m., Professor Stephen Zaima, VPA's painting program coordinator and critical studies instructor is going to speak about why painting or any other artwork matters (the value of art during these difficult times).

Feel free to bring your lunch.
