Seneca Street Elementary School was one of two schools last year to hold a Mini Relay event as part of the Oneida Area Relay For Life. Both of these are American Cancer Society signature events. The school will be recognized for last year's Mini Relay event and host a kick off for this year's activities at 9:10 a.m. Monday March 9 at the school.
The school will be given a plaque for last year's activities and a brief slide show of last year's event will be shown. Students will be given information about this year's Mini Relay activities.
For more information, contact Jennifer Armlin, Seneca Street teacher and Mini Relay Coordinator at email@example.com.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a unique experience that celebrates survivors, remembers loved ones lost to cancer and raises money to support the mission of American Cancer Society, to eliminate cancer.
Mini Relay, an extension of our Relay For Life, is set up similar to the community Relay for Life but designed just for elementary schools. For more information on the Oneida Area Relay For Life visit www.relayforlife.org/oneidany.
