Andrew Coughlin, a sophomore at Baker High School, spent his February break in Argentina doing what he loves best -- playing soccer.
Coughlin was one of 17 young men selected to represent Region I of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) in a round robin tournament in Argentina. The goal of the ODP is to identify talented youth players at the state level and provide them with opportunities for advancement.
Coughlin spent nine days in Argentina and was able to see some of the country's historic landmarks in between soccer games. He said the highlight of his trip was visiting the soccer facility for Boca Jr., which is a premiere professional soccer team in Argentina.
