Human rights vigil for Iran

On Tuesday, June 30, from noon to 12:30 p.m., at Columbus Circle, downtown Syracuse, there will be a silent vigil for human rights, freedom of speech, and peace in Iran and throughout the world.

People of goodwill, regardless of political or religious background, are welcome to join in this silent witness of concern over the conflict and deaths that have been occurring in Iran during the past several weeks.

The Vigil is organized by various individuals in the Syracuse community, but by no particular organization. The Syracuse Peace Council has assisted in publicizing the gathering.
