Food Stamps accepted by Madison Bounty

Chenango-Madison Bounty: "Farmers' Market at Your Door" will be accepting Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT)/Food Stamps in payment for its products as of June 5. This new payment method helps to support Bounty's mission of reaching everyone in the community with healthy local food, and is the culmination of a long-term effort on the part of the Bounty Team.

Bounty delivers local, fresh food as often as once a week to homes and businesses throughout the two counties, and serves individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds. Its acceptance of EBT will further strengthen this relationship between local farms and local people.

The EBT project runs through the New York Farmers' Market Federation and the Hamilton Farmers' Market. Becca Jablonski of the Madison County Agriculture Economic Development Office has been working with the Bounty Team for many months.
