Downtown Farmers Market opens June 9

See what's new at this year's Downtown Farmers' Market, including -- nearly 50 farmers and fresh produce dealers, additional organic offerings, opening day entertainment from the band, "Southern Comfort," and more.

"For this year's Downtown Farmers Market, we're expecting an outstanding quality and diversity of the freshest local and regional products," said Chuck McFadden, director of the Downtown Farmers Market.

As always, the Downtown Farmers Market is a great open-air alternative to shop for a vibrant, fresh array of fruits, vegetables, nuts, cheese, eggs, wine, baked goods, flowers and plants. The Downtown Farmers' Market opens Tuesday, June 10, and runs every Tuesday through Oct. 14 -- from 7 a.m. to 4p.m., rain or shine.
