Bill Price, president of Pooler Development, has amended a general project plan request for Timber Banks, the new development off River Road on the Cold Springs peninsula.
After Lysander officials voted 4-to-1 against the original proposed changes, Pooler Development went back to the drawing board and presented a new request at the May 28 board meeting. The original request was a reduction in setbacks (distance between the home and roads including a two-foot easement) from 26 feet to 19 feet for all units within the high-density residential district. The revised request is for a reduction in setbacks only for the units fronting on Timber Banks Parkway, which are estimated to be 15 lots. A request for a lot area maximum increase from 9,000 to 14,000 square feet and a lot width maximum increase from 65 feet to 155 feet was also made.
A public hearing regarding the issue has been scheduled for 7:01 p.m. June 22 at the Lysander town hall, 8220 Loop Road in Radisson.
