Facing a long, downhill, left-to-right putt, Feldmeier didn't flinch. She hit it at just the right speed, and it found the hole for an eagle three, creating the two-shot winning margin.
At a brunch following the event, each of the F-M players, plus Brown and coaches Anne Miller and Tom Chaddock, received individual trophies, and the team received a large gold cup for display in its school until next year's event.
Two other F-M players, Briana Winslow and Carly Kidd, helped on the Cazeonvia team, while Abby Boduch joined the Central Square foursome.
Among the other local teams, East Syracuse-Minoa, featuring two-time Section III individual champion Brittany Siechen (who later played in the Alliance Bank Classic), tied for fourth at three-under-par 32. Christian Brothers Academy, who won the inaugural Pro-Junior Challenge in 2007 at Erie Village, finished at two-under-par 33, as did Jamesville-DeWitt.
For ESM, Siechen, Danielle Cafferty, Jen Cotter and Maida Brkanovic teamed up with pro Sara Olsen. CBA had Mary Fletcher, Elisabeth Webber, Emilie Oakes and Sarah Kitts with pro Christine Boucher. Liz Worden, Kara Capstraw, Victoria Roney and Yvonna Jones made up the J-D foursome as pro Meghan Little joined them.
