A public hearing regarding a general plan change in the Timber Banks development area was also held June 22. Bill Price of Pooler Development presented revised changes to the plan, which included allowing a reduction in the length of driveways from 22 feet (plus two-foot easement) to 17 feet (plus two-foot easement) for four buildings with three units each. These units are between Timber Banks Parkway and Summer Gates Drive. The original proposal was for all the properties in the high-density district, which will offer town homes.
The revision was approved by the Lysander Planning board, as the developer had met with the board's requests. The 17-foot setback (plus two-foot easement) does meet with the minimum setback for a parking spot within the town. The town board approved the request in a 3-2 vote.
