Freedom from hunger

Van Buren Democratic Committee seeks donations for Food Pantry

Children and Families are hungry right here in Baldwinsville.

In these tough times, the Baldwinsville Food Pantry has ever increasing numbers of requests for emergency food assistance. Baldwinsville's PEACE, Inc. and the Baldwinsville Ministerial Consortium of local churches coordinate the local Food Pantry which is housed in the United Methodist Church, corner of Route 370 and Charlotte St., opposite the Village Police Department and town hall. The pantry is in need of non-perishable canned and boxed foods such as canned fruit; vegetables; baby food; boxed pudding and jello; hot and cold cereal; spaghetti sauce; pasta; rice; hamburger helper; tuna helper; canned tuna; spam; hash; beef stew; flour; sugar; peanut butter; jelly; etc.; or monetary donations to help purchase perishables and items in high demand. If you are interested in making a monetary donation, please send checks payable to The Baldwinsville Food Pantry to 17 W. Genesee St. Baldwinsville, NY 13027. To make a food donation, please bring it to the United Methodist Church office at 17 W. Genesee St. (corner of Charlotte Street) and use the entrance closest to the parking lot.

Please help the Baldwinsville Democratic Alliance free a child or family from hunger.

The Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to noon Fridays during the summer.
