While few would argue that this nation's healthcare system is in need of reform, how we get there and how Congress addresses this issue will be the subject of much debate this summer. House Democrats recently released a discussion draft healthcare reform proposal that will serve as a basis for debate in the coming weeks. Groups and stakeholders from across the political spectrum have come together to demand action on reform this year.
Congressman Maffei will be hosting a Healthcare Reform Panel Discussion and Town Hall Meeting to get input from all sectors of the healthcare industry to make sure our community's voice is heard during this debate.
