Working in bouts of creativity, the local roofing and chimney man by day turned musical genius by night tries to keep life balanced -- a happy family, good work and plenty of play time make for excellent songwriting conditions.
"I'm always trying to stay focused on the creative part of music," Pas'cal said.
Lately, though, Pas'cal's creativity has been depleted, he said. Having the chance to spend time with Bliss and prepare for the June 11 show has helped dredge up the inspiration to create once again. Feeding off the energy, the Skaneateles native is ready to take inspiration by the horns and run with it.
"What Dan brings to me is this new sense of creativity," Pas'cal said. "To be able to play a show with him, I'm just honored. The energy and electricity is going to keep me fed for a long time."
Tickets for the show will be available at the door for $10. Harmonica player Danny Welch will join Pas'cal and Bliss on stage. The show opens at 7:30 p.m. Saturday July 11 at Auburn Public Theater, 108 Genesee St., Auburn.
Bliss will also be playing at 2:45 p.m. Sunday July 12 on the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que stage at the New York State Blues Fest in Clinton Square, Syracuse.
