B'ville: Touring the Emerald Isle

On Thursday March 19, join Meg VanPatten (Baldwinsville librarian) in exploring the Republic of Ireland from the ancient Megalithic passage tombs of Newgrange and Knowth built over 5,000 years ago to the hustle and beauty of modern day Dublin.

Meetings of Friends of the Library are held at 10 a.m. the third Thursday of each month from September through May (except in December) at the Baldwinsville Library, 33 E. Genesee St. in the village. A full schedule of meetings and information about the organization is available at the circulation desk of the Baldwinsville Library. Membership in the organization is $5 per year and a donation of $1 per meeting is requested. A business meeting and refreshments precede the monthly program. Nonmembers are always welcome.

The officers of Friends of Baldwinsville Public Library, Inc. for 2008-09 are Sue LeFever (president), Mary Crego (vice president), Pat McFall (secretary) and Theresa Gross (treasurer).
