McClurg employees earn certified green professional designation

McClurg Remodeling and Construction Services recently announced that Scott McClurg, president, and two company team members, Jeff Livingstone and Jerry Thayer, have earned the Certified Green Professional designation from the National Association of Home Builders.

According to the NAHB, the CGP designation "recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes -- without driving up the cost of construction."

Qualifications for the CGP designation include 24 hours of classroom training, including 16 hours of green building instruction; at least two years industry experience; signing a code of ethics; and committing to continuing education requirements.

McClurg Remodeling and Construction Services has served Central New York homeowners and commercial customers for more than 30 years.
