Hannah Murphay and Becca Sager were second in the mile (12:34.68) as the Bears were also fifth in the 600, 400 and 1,000, and sixth in the 300 and triple jump.

On the boys side, Canastota, with 29 points, had the best local effort, taking ninth place, just ahead of Chittenango’s total of 20 points.
Canastota’s tandem of Aaron Walker and Zach Szkolnick teamed up to win the mile in a combined time of 9:58.98. Also, Walker and Erick Wells gave Canastota a second-place time of 4:34.54 in the 800-meter run.
