One of Central New York's top holiday attractions, Lights on the Lake at Onondaga Lake Park, will be open Dec. 24 and 25 and also Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Now celebrating its 20th season, Lights on the Lake is open every evening from 5 until 10 p.m. through Sunday Jan. 10.
Two miles of super-sized holiday images, hundreds of icicle-laden trees and themed sections welcome visitors to the Fantasy Forest, Victorian Village, Land of Oz, Wide World of Sports, Under the Sea, Santa's Workshop, Holiday Traditions and the storybook grand finale, Fairytale Magic. Admission is $8 per car; $6 Monday and Tuesday with Wegmans Shoppers Club Card.
