Wellness initiative

Students looking to boost their physical activity can join the Bee Fit Group, a walking group that meets after school. The group, headed by teacher Jason Nephew, walks outside when the weather is mild and inside the school when the weather is inclement. The group's goal is to walk 100 miles in total by the end of the school year. Students wear pedometers to track their miles. The school's PTSA generously funded the purchase of the pedometers.
