The Onondaga Historical Association's holiday presentation "Mr. Dickens, Mr. Scrooge, and A Christmas Carol" will arrive with bells on at 2 p.m. Sunday Dec. 13 and a second presentation has been added for 2 p.m. Saturday Dec. 26.
Join us for an interactive interpretation of the beloved Christmas story narrated by the eminent Charles Dickens and featuring Mr. Scrooge and all your favorite characters, some of them, which members of the audience will bring to life. Mr. Dickens returns to the Salt City 140 years after his initial visit during an 1869 American tour. He will be assisted in the retelling of his most famous tale with actors of OHA's own performing troupe, The History Up Stagers. It is a yuletide treat for the whole family and for a change of pace, take in a "groovy scene" with our Christmas exhibit, "Toys from our childhood: The Psychedelic Sixties" Take in the fun and the fads and festivities of the 1860s and the1960s at the Historical Association.
