American Family Theater Performs A Holiday Classic

Babes In Toyland, performed by American Family Theater, a national

touring stage show, is performed live Saturday, December 12 at 1:30pm.

Filled with unforgettable songs and sparkling talent, Babes In Toyland

brims with humor and heart, perfect for the entire family this holiday

season. Meet the cast for autographs, photos, and tasty cookies at

2:30pm at the cast party. Enjoy this holiday classic and tradition with

family and friends.

Victor Herbert's captivating classic begins with the tinkle of a music box

and slowly one by one the characters come to life on stage: Alan, Mary,

Widow Piper, Jack, Jill, and Barnaby, the evil villain. Barnaby is forcing

Mary to marry him (to keep her mother from losing their home). However,

Alan, her true love, creates a plan with Jack and Jill, from Toyland, to

save Mary from marrying Barnaby, keep Widow Piper from losing their home

The third season of ONStage continues with The Jackie Robinson Story (Feb.

21), a baseball legend; enjoy an interactive dinner theater at the best

high school reunion ever with the national cast of Westside High School

Reunion (March 13); laugh to the comedy antics of Foolz (April 10); and be

awed with the Cashore Marionettes in Simple Gifts (May 1).

The Chenango Nursery School will be present to sell and take orders for

unique themed gift bags filled with books geared for children ages two to

five. The themed bags include the alphabet, numbers, shapes, farm animals,

safari animals, cooking fun, play dough fun, snowmen, holiday fun,
