Today, in the crowded Blues Brothers Barbershop near the
corner of South Salina and East Colvin Streets, Common Councilor At-Large Van Robinson endorsed Democratic candidate Joe Nicoletti. Robinson said he gave the decision a lot of thought, but after much consideration he is convinced that Joe is the best person for the job. "Our City is at a crossroads. It is very important, not only to our standing in our great state, but also to Syracuse's residents, that we have a Mayor who can work with others."
"Joe Nicoletti deserves a chance to put his experience to work for our City. Joe will bring the enthusiasm, excitement, and energy we so need in our next Mayor. More importantly, Joe is the most qualified candidate," Robinson said. "Our next Mayor should have a clear understanding that our City work force should reflect the diversity of our communities. He must instill a feeling of confidence amongst members of our neighborhoods by engaging residents to be more involved in City Government."
"I have long admired Van for his leadership abilities and what he has accomplished for Syracuse," Nicoletti said."I look forward to working with him and moving our City forward over the next four years."
