The Skaneateles Police Department has received a number of complaints regarding kids jumping off the bridge, the pier and the community docks. Parents are urged to remind their children that the only place for swimming in the Village is in the designated area in Clift Park across from the Sherwood Inn.

Arrests for the week:

Dustin B. Pascal, 33, of 6649 Beech Road, Sennett, was charged July 27 with second-degree harassment, disorderly conduct and trespassing.

Thomas P. Whitmore, 62, of 3332 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, was charged July 30 with driving while intoxicated, driving with 0.08 or more percent blood alcohol content and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Jason W. Babin, 38, of 256 Volk Road, Webster, was charged July 31 with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator and speeding.

Heriberto Astacio, 46, of 322 Elm St., Syracuse, was charged Aug. 1 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating while registration suspended or revoked and unlicensed operator.
