Street lighting approved in Lysander

Lysander officials approved a National Grid streetlight proposal at the corner of Warriors Path and Killoe Road in Clinton Heights after holding a public hearing Monday April 13.

"There's a need [for the light]," said Councilor Art Levy.

The additional streetlight will cost Clinton Heights residents an additional .0418 cents per $1,000 of property value this year. That means a property valued at $200,000 would see an increase of $8.36 in their lighting district taxes from last year to this year.
