B'ville: Don't forget to vote

The Baldwinsville Public Library budget vote and trustee election will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday April 23 in the library at 33 E. Genesee St. in Baldwinsville. Voters must be 18 years of age or older, be a United States citizen and have lived in the Baldwinsville Central School District for at least 30 days prior to April 23.

Residents of the Baldwinsville Central School District will be asked to approve a $1,388,300 budget for the Baldwinsville Public Library for the 2009-10 fiscal year. For a Baldwinsville school district resident owning a home with a market value of $100,000, it is estimated that the total library tax bill will be $62 per year.

Brochures with budget details are available at the library, all area banks, Canton Woods Senior Center and the village and town offices.

In addition to the budget vote, Donna Arseneau is running for a five-year term of office to the trustee seat she currently holds.
