Alzheimer's Unraveling the Mystery scheduled for May 16

The Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter announced a new event to take place this spring. The first Unraveling the Mystery, presented by The Heritage Apartments at Loretto is scheduled for May 16 at Traditions at the Links in East Syracuse. The event begins at 6 p.m.

Unraveling the Mystery is an interactive murder mystery event where patrons work to piece together clues to solve a murder. Actors from the troupe they improv work directly with guests to examine and analyze clues, evaluate witnesses, alibis and motives, and choose from a variety of suspects to determine the culprit. {Q}The phrase "unraveling the mystery" is a play on words often associated with the search for a cure to the disease.{Q} The event replaces Memory Makers, the association's longtime black tie gala, in an effort to conduct a less formal and more affordable event.

Admission is $100 per person and includes dinner and access to a silent auction, featuring items donated by local businesses. Proceeds from the event benefit the dual mission of the Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter - to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease and provide high quality services for people touched by the disease. alzcny.org.
