People of all ages will have an opportunity to celebrate Earth Day from 1 to 4 Saturday April 18 at Alverna Heights in Fayetteville.
Visitors can participate in bird watching, hiking, browsing through exhibits as well as speaking with experts about the increase in invasive species (non-native plants and animals).
The event is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities, New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and Syracuse area residents.
