"Focus on Five" showcases local artists

The Opening Reception for "Focus on Five" will be held on April 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at MAD Art, Inc.'s Lebanon Street Alley Main Gallery. Watercolors by Toloa Perry, Jana Laxa, paintings by Marion Simpson and Tyrone Johnson-Neuland, and mixed media sculpture by Marshall Baer create a dynamic synergy in the gallery space. Sue Lappan, a member of MAD Art's gallery committee is enthusiastic about this show: "Focus on Five exhibit features an interesting range of art from the beautiful watercolor florals and landscapes, interesting mixed media and carved wood sculpture to vibrant colorful abstract painting. There is something here for everyone!"

Artwork by MAD Art Inc.'s members will also be on exhibit in the South and Side Galleries.

Stop by the reception to meet the artists. It's a great opportunity to get to know our local talent. The exhibit runs through June. For more information, call MAD Art, Inc. 824-1843, or email madartinc@gmail.com.
