The Clay Historical Park on 4939 Rte. 31 next to the Northern Railroad tracks is now open to the public on the following dates: May 17, June 14 and 26 and August 9 and 16. The park will be open from noon to 3 p.m.
Make plans for one of the designated dates and experience the history of the town.
Attractions include a welcome center and the Cigarville Railroad Station Museum, Sellen-Weller 1840 barn, and a replica of the first log cabin built in Clay, circa 1795. Also adjacent to the site is the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the oldest Church in Onondaga County with archives from 1823.
