The Liverpool Public Library will be hosting several business programs to new entrepreneurs. The first of many programs will be the Business Start-up workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22. The workshop will provide participants with information on everything a potential new business owner needs to know and be prepared for. The workshop will be presented by Joan Powers of the Senior Development Center.
A seminar called Business Plan 101 will be at LPL from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 27. The event will help entrepreneurs understand the importance of a business plan and how it can help make a business successful. The information will be presented by Art Holben, a longtime member and past president of Syracuse SCORE. He has counseled small businesses and entrepreneurships for more than 16 years.
Big Help for Small Businesses will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 11. The presentation will help people to learn how to use the library as a business resource. Other helpful information will be given on how entrepreneurs can do market research, study industry trends and direct their marketing plans all while visiting the library. Basic computer experience is required to attend.
