B'ville: Bye-bye eye sore

The view of the Seneca River in Baldwinsville is finally clear.

Village Engineer Tim Baker thanked the New York State Canal Corporation for removing a large tree, which had been perched on the Baldwinsville dam for quite some time. Baker said the tree was very heavy, and the village department of public works was unable to dislodge the tree with its limited resources.

"There is no way we could've gotten [the tree] off for at least a few years without their help," Baker said.
