Benefit planned for B'ville infant

The staff of Reynolds Elementary School will sponsor a pasta dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. May 1 at the school to raise money to offset the medical expenses for Jude Langstaff, the infant son of Jon Langstaff, a third-grade teacher at Reynolds, as well as a resident of Baldwinsville.

Jude suffers from tuberous sclerosis, a rare disorder that causes tumors to form in many different organs, leading to developmental delays, mental retardation and autism. The disorder requires extensive medical interventions.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, with a maximum of $30 for a family. Children under 5 are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the school or at the door the evening of the dinner. The school is located at 222 Deerwood Boulevard.

All donations from merchants are greatly appreciated and will be displayed and raffled off at the benefit. For more information, contact Kristin Monterville at kmonterville@bville.org or call Reynolds Elementary School at 638-6124.
