Jesse McCullagh, a top-50 "American Idol" contestant and 2005 Camden graduate, will perform in Vienna at 7 p.m. Tuesday April 7 at the Vienna United Methodist Church on Route 49.
The performance, presented by the Historical Association of Vienna, is in celebration of the 2008 provisional charter presented to the assosication by the New York State Board of Regents. The "Charter Anniversary Dinner" will be served buffet-style at 6 p.m. followed by the performance. All members of the community of invited to join. For more information, call 245-1209.
About Jesse McCullagh
McCullagh is the son of George and Tracy McCullagh of Route 13 in Westdale. While at Camden High School, McCullagh performed in many talent shows and was voted class vice president and most musical.
In May, he will graduate from Hartwick College in Oneonta with a degree in philosophy. While in college, McCullagh studied in Scotland and England, impersonated Elvis Presley, performed a play with music from the fifties and sang in a quartet. After college, he plans to pursue his musical career in the Boston area.
With his smooth baritone voice and acoustic guitar, it is sure to be an entertaining evening. His current CD, "And Here We Are," will be available at the concert.
