Springtime in Westcott Nation Photo Contest

The Westcott Neighborhood Bulb Project in conjunction with the Westcott Community Center is sponsoring a Springtime Photo Contest to highlight the natural beauty of the Westcott neighborhood.

Since the Bulb Project started six years ago, the project has been responsible for raising funds to plant 42,000 spring blooming perennial bulbs in the Westcott neighborhood. Community organizations, volunteers and hundreds of home owners and renters who were willing to plant bulbs in front of their homes for all to enjoy helped make this possible.

To see a list of over 15 neighborhood public sites (schools, parks, non profit organizations) where the bulbs have been planted, visit bulbproject.org and click on history.

The spring theme photo contest is to encourage the focus on the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Any photo with a spring theme (doesn't have to be one of the bulb sites) taken in the Westcott neighborhood will be considered.

The contest will be juried by the five members of the Westcott neighborhood bulb committee.
