About the CBC
The CBC is a non-profit club established in 1977. Members are assigned to a team and required to work one Thursday per rotation. The remaining weeks are free time, offering stay-at-home parents an opportunity to develop relationships with other parents in the community as well as having some free time without the worries of wondering if their child is safe and happy.
The group meets at Christ Community Church located at 3644 Warners Road from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays, following the West Genesee School calendar for holidays and weather closings. Each room varies in the number of children, determined by membership and New York State childcare guidelines. The children have access to age appropriate toys and activities. In addition, there is a certified preschool teacher paid by the CBC.
Camillus residency is not required to participate -everyone is welcome.
Beginning in September, extended hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays.
The CBC is governed by a Board of Directors and there are general membership meetings so ideas and issues can be discussed throughout the year.
