West Genesee’s girls track and field team earned 62 points for fifth place in the CNY Counties League National division meet at Cicero-North Syracuse’s Bragman Stadium. Liverpool (162 points) held off CNS (152 points) for the top spot. Carly Graham gave the Wildcats a victory in the 1,500-meter run, roaring to a time of 4:46.45, well ahead of CNS’s Nicole Waterrud (4:53.90) in second place. Also, in the 4×400 relay, the Wildcats prevailed as Graham, Brianna McGraw, Paige Copeland and Katie Bott finished in 4:08.19, holding off Liverpool (4:08.68) at the wire. On her own, Bott covered the 400-meter dash in 59.48 seconds, taking second place. Copeland ran her way to third place in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:10.05. McGraw was fifth in the 100-meter dash in 13.67 seconds as Abby Kastick got fifth (11:49.26) at 3,000 meters. Alex Incaudo, Kristin Waters, Katie Riley and Amy Hannahan ran third in the 4×800 relay in 10:30.54. Jessica Andrianos finished second in the discus with a toss of 105 feet 4 inches, just behind Utica Proctor’s Basia Bowens (107 feet 9 inches). Incaudo and Hannahan were fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 800-meter run, while Colleen Smith got fifth (8:05.10) in the 2,000-meter steeplechase. This came a day after Marcellus hosted the OHSL Liberty Division meet. Among the local sides, Westhill (45 points) finished fourth, ahead of Jordan-Elbridge (44 points), Marcellus (32 points) and Solvay (28 points). Skaneateles won with 163 points. J-E’s Nicole Darling got second place in the 800-meter run in 2:22.87, then added a third in the 1,500-meter run in 5:01.79. Darling, Kim Foltz, Rachel Scott and McKenzie Williams claimed second in the 4×400 relay in 4:24.31. Courtney Hourigan worked her way to second place in the pentathlon, earning 1,839 points, as Tia Segretto got third (80 feet 4 inches) in the discus. Westhill saw Heather Clancy finish second in the 3,000-meter run in 10:56.13, with teammate Catherine Coon (11:58.77) in fourth place. In the 4×800, Coon, Katie Powers, Lissa DiPaola and Katie Lenkiewicz claimed second place in 10:09.18. Kathryn Christensen cleared 4 feet 8 inches in the high jump, while Paula Sanz took second in the discus (83 feet 6 inches) and finished fourth in the pole vault by clearing 7 feet. Solvay included Breanna Lioto running to third in the 100 hurdles in 17.78 seconds and fifth in the high jump. Christina Clemente took fourth in the 400-meter dash (1:02.42) and fifth in the 200 (28.51 seconds). Rebecca Quick was fifth in the 100-meter dash in 13.62 seconds, as Anna Salvagno earned third place in the pentathlon. For the host Mustangs, Megan Tock finished second in the high jump, clearing 4 feet 10 inches. Kim Duck was fourth in the triple jump, going 30 feet 8 3/4 inches. Elizabeth Dean was fifth in the 1,500 (5:09.31), with Laura Quercia fifth in the 400 and Bailie Vensel fifth in the 3,000.
