Madison County voter registration days planned

Madison County Commissioners of Elections Lynne M. Jones and Laura P. Costello announced recently that there will be two days of local voter registration this year.

Only five polling places will be open in Madison County.

The following polling places will be open Tuesday Oct. 7 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. and Saturday Oct. 11 from 2 to 9 p.m.:

Cazenovia: Municipal Building, 90 Albany St., Cazenovia

Hamilton: Public Library, 13 Broad St., Hamilton

Lenox: Municipal Building, 205 S. Peterboro St., Canastota

Sullivan: Wm. Cain American Legion, 707 Mohawk St., Chittenango

Oneida: Oneida Municipal Building, 109 N. Main St., Oneida

Mail registration forms may be used until Oct. 10, and they must be postmarked no later than that day.

Local registration is the last opportunity for those interested in voting in the Nov. 4 general election to register.
