DiGiacomo was well known and respected throughout the CNY music community. A teacher, musician and composer, he graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in music composition. DiGiacomo has been described as a sensitive and passionate composer, who could write entertainingly and comprehensibly without condescending.
DiGiacomo died at his Cazenovia home in 2004. He was 59 years old.
The legacy of his life and music will be forever cherished by his wife Karen, children Joshua and Linda, and a devoted circle of extended family and friends -- all of whom will be in attendance when "A Journey to Bethlehem" journeys back to Baldwinsville in December.
