Canastota: Voters choose incumbents

The official results are in for the mayoral and trustee races in the village and it looks like the incumbents will continue to serve Canastota for the next four years.

Mayor Todd Rouse (R) garnered 357 votes over challenger Doug Chandler (D) with 195 votes.

Republican trustees Ann Marie Rossi and Theodore Lumbrazo keep their seats on the village board earning 367 and 393 votes respectively.

Conservative newcomer Stephen Perry earned 209 votes in the trustee race.

Debbie Rinaldo-Poppe had one write-in vote for trustee.
